[BES Friends] A Special 4th of July at the Baltimore Ethical Society

The morning starts with the Poetry Group, facilitated by Kirk Mullen, at 9:30, followed by a special Summer Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 - "As American as Apple Pie."We will discuss what it means to be American as we eat – what else – apple pie (and ice cream). Perhaps Steve Meskin will also tell us about apple pi as a prelude to next week’s more mathematical discussion. Ice cream will be provided, but we need some donations of apple pie - and an idea of how much pie we need.

Please let new Program Committee Chair Karen Elliott know no later than midnight Friday if you're coming and if you can bring an apple pie to share.
